Africa has now attained 50 years of political self independence. There is however not much to show for the last half century of independence. Much of the continent is still in war and extreme poverty. Life remains short and brutish in Africa. There is one factor that can account for this state of affairs: Corruption. It is noteworthy that there is very little scholarship on this topic, despite its serious repercussions on the lives of Africans. In this blog, I will strive to shed light on the intricate webs of corruption in Africa and elsewhere in the world.
